Feeling low?

Here at UAGSeafarerHelp we know that being away from family and friends for long periods of time can make you feel lonely and isolated. The environment on board can sometimes be a problem and make you feel even worse. We also recognise that it is not always easy or appropriate to talk to colleagues about the issues that are concerning you. The UAGSeafarerHelp team understands that concerns about family members or situations on shore can be very hard to deal with on top of the demands that working as a seafarer bring.

If you are feeling depressed, lonely or unhappy and would like someone to talk to, in your own language, then the UAGSeafarerHelp team is here to listen to you. You can contact us 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, we are a free and confidential service that is for seafarers and their families. Talking to someone about things that are worrying you can help you see your situation and options more clearly and make you feel a lot better. We are here to listen to you for as long as you need.
